Coca-Cola Discontinues Over 200 Drink Brands

@cocacola, the beverage GIANT that helped LAUNCH many star-studded careers such as @tyrese, has noticed that it is officially cancelling over 200 drinks from it’s Brand.
According to a Coca Cola Exec, the move is suppose “to help streamline production and to focus mainly, on bestsellers.” In addition to Coke, many other food and beverage companies are cutting back since the pandemic, in an effort to make their operations more efficient and to meet growing demands for their most popular products.
After 60 years, The SOFT drink giant is discontinuing TAB, its first ever DIET soda. The SOFT drink acquired a huge fan base in the ‘70s and ‘80s, but only maintained a small devotion since then. “It (definitely) had an amazing run,” said Robert Bixby, executive director of the Concord Coalition and a longtime TAB enthusiast.
Among other discontinued brands, Coke also announced that Odwalla Juices and Zico coconut water would be retired as well.  Retiring these products and others, will allow the company to INVEST in it’s MORE powerhouse DIet Coke and Coke Zero brands “This is not a bottom-line efficiency play,” said Bradin Spickeer, Senior Vice President of Innovation and commercialization. “It’s a top-line growth play.”
To many, its a GOOD business decision, but for those few devoted fans, its a sad day.  Coke said it will be eliminating its brand lineup by the end of the years. So if your a dedicated and devoted TAB drinker, stock up your cabinet, that’s IF you can find any.
