Jaheim: The Ghetto Prince of R&B
Jaheim, Born Jaheim H. Hoagland, aka Ghetto Slick, aka The Ghetto Prince, is well known for his banging R&B hood tracks like “Could it Be,” and “Just in Case,” which were released in 2001 on his debut album entitled GHETTO LOVE. Jaheim followed up a year later in 2002 with his second album entitled Still Ghetto. An album that contained two platinum hits, “Put That Woman First" and "Fabulous." He went on to produce a total of 7 studio albums which has allowed him to sell over 5 million records to date worldwide and three Grammy nominations.
Though Jaheim hasn’t produce any new solo music lately, he has make an appearance in 2021 on the rapper AZ’’s single entitled, “the Wheel.” https://youtu.be/68Ixf3xnrvU
in 2023 you can hear Jaheim bringing that HEAT on another banger he’s featured on called,“Another” by new artist @mar.jakim. The track samples Jaheim’s 2002 track “Put that Woman First," but adds a new era FEEL to an already Classic Jaheim. Check it out:
Known as one of the MOST successful R&B singers Jaheim is reported to have shifted into production. In addition to announcing his forthcoming 8th studio album, he’s added the new role of Music PRODUCER to his hyphenated title. Jaheim with His smooth, soulful voice and insightful lyrics has already secured a list of artist signed up to work with him, @mar.jakim being one of many, under WE NEVA DONE Entertainment.
Despite all the FALSE accusations against him and established accolades @officialjaheim continues to hold onto that GHETTO Spirit and continues to fight “THOSE” who stole all his CREDIT and previous album PROFITs without remorse. They’ve called him all SORTs of degrading names, said he was mentally disturbed, even arrested him for allegedly mistreating 15 dogs. However, @officialjaheim is just getting started, as he takes off on this new journey, we’re sure to expect great new MUSIC from him in the near future.
