Jay Z: The Harder They Fall

The Jigga Man, Jay-Z, has officially inked a deal with NETFLIX to produce Original Film entitles, The Harder They Fall, which is written and directed by Jeymes Samuel, Gov’s The Great Gatsby Soundtrack collaborator.  The film Starring Jonathan Majors, who plays outlaw Nat Love’s, follows his vengeful journey after discovering that the person who killed his parents was finally getting released from prison. Love reunites with his former gang members and sets out to exact revenge against a murderer, played by Idris Elba, that killed his family two decades ago.

This Western Flick, marks HOV’s third effort as a film producer, following 2014’s Annie and his roles as executive producer for 2013’s The Great Gatsby and 2018’s Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. First introduced in 2016, The Harder They Fall, cast initially included Michael K. Williams, Erykah Badu, Rosario Dawson, Wesley Snipes, and Jessie Williams.  It’s uncertain whether NETFLIX will keep the initial cast, or when the film will be released, so stay Ntund for developing news and release date.
