Tekashi 6ix9ine: From A HipHop TROLL, to An Industry SUPERVILLAIN?
Tekashi 6ix9ine started out as an annoying HipHop nuisance trolling artist throughout the music industry, and now @rollingstone calls him a music supervillain. Criticized
for being a RAT, this savvy social media Geru, seems to be wearing that RAT title with dignity, pride, and affluence. According to many of his followers he is doing exactly what RATs do best, and that’s “Chasing the CHEESE.”
Since his release from prison, Tekashi has been dropping Billboard charting HITs while continuously antagonizing his HATERs and competition along the way. Although MIA since his reported pill overdose, the “Rainbow Rapper” has occasionally popped up to let his fans and critics know, he’s still POPPIN’.
In his absence, social media had been a bit boring, and unentertaining, while his antics have been missed, so much so, that dedicated fans and critics, have asked officials to “check up on him, and questioned, “could he be dead?” That curiosity didn’t last long though, the “Colorful Hair TROLL,” was recently interviewed by @stephenWitt in an extensive @rollingstone feature story entitled, “Tekashi 6ix9ine: The Rise and Fall of a Hip-Hop Supervillain.”
The three-episode feature examined how a New York City Mexican deli clerk name Daniel Hernandez transformed into Tekashi 6ix9ine, the HipHop Troll with a savvy understanding of social media and an ability to CREATE chart-topping songs. The story not only showed how annoying Daniel could be, but also how much of a genius he is. Tekashi reveals that although his antics seem a bit childish at times, he assures that each one of them is well thought out and precisely calculated in order to maximize the impact on his viewers.
Like recently, when he did a Two-part “No Holds Barred” interview with @theshaderoom, explaining his entire story and why he doesn’t consider himself to be a rat. The interview drew in over 5.8million YouTube Views, where in one instance, @6ix9ine is caught in a RANTing EXPOSition on @meekmill, and @rocknation CEO Desiree Perez, whom he says helped the government take down Colombian Cartels, and cuts @meekmill check. 6ix9ine exposes the rapper’s hypocrisy and integrity, questioning how can someone be an advocate against RATs but their BOSS is a known RAT, that PAYs them?!
The “No Subject off Limits” interview gave viewers a front row seat of 6ix9ine “squealing” in rare form. Though considered a RAT, the controversial rapper left Theshaderoom CEO and her viewers challenged and STUMPED on the position of cooperating and the definition of integrity. As of today, neither Meekmill Desiree perez or Roc Nation has responded to his RANTs, leaving DANNY feeling victorious.
In every SAGA, there has to be a VILLAIN and a SUPERHERO, a good guy and a bad guy, the music industry is no exception. @6ix9ine has stepped into and accepted the role of Hip-Hop’s ferocious villain and challenges ANYONE to contest him. According to @6ix9ine, even @billboard tried, but was exposed when he allegedly caught them illegally manipulating @arianagrande numbers to push her to #1. @billboard, the GIANT music industry stat-collector, likewise hasn’t responded to the rappers claims. Whatever the case, this witness-stand taking, whistle-blowing VILLAIN continues to live up to our expectations, so what would the CULTURE be without him? Hey, what would Hip-Hop be without its artistic BEEFs and battle rappers? What would BATMAN be without the JOKER? Your Thought and comments.
